There is an Isaac Sweeting born in London in 1857 and he turns up in Nottinghamshire in the census so the marriage could be him.

The Isaac SWEETING who married in Nottingham could have been born anywhere

The fact that all the records state he is 'single' means that he didn't marry

yes he would have been very young only isaac born 1857 is the only one born nottingham so i thought that could be him

That would make him very young when he married and both the army records and the later census record have him as single.
