I have looked for his prison records once before and it was going to cost £120 for the research, not sure how much in detail the records were and if it was worth it. Have printed of the second link, thank you. :-D

I think this is the correct 1911 - the mother's name matches the Register of Effects (Ancestry's links are rubbish!)

Evelyn Wood (Male) 70th Feld Coy, Royal Engineers SErvice No 478232 Death 9th August 1917 Arras Memorial aged 28. From Rotherham.

William Wood Sargent West yorkshire regiement (|Prince of Wales's own) 12th Bn. Death 17th December 1918 Service number 13429 Wife, Lucy Ann Wood 9Pepper Street Hunslet Leeds.
Both have war medals, which i have the cards from, but no other information. I have very little on Evelyn, but know that Wiliam died of the spanish flu and was a prisoner of war, but no more.
