I can't say for sure but just reading what you have copied above I would say that he was actually admitted into the workhouse. |

He was living at Carrington House when he asked for relief at the workhouse. Looks like he was sick- he was seeking relief from the infirmary. |

Thanks for your replies, I was expecting to see the discharge as well, as that is the title of the images "admission and discharge" but that is the only record I can see , wonder if I keep going through the pages I might come across the page that says he leaves? |

It looks admission and discharge to me- his relief was for the infirmary so perhaps like a doctors appointment or outpatients?: |

Haha maybe , I don't think he stayed there long he was on a boat to Baffin Island in 1915 !! |
