Thanks to all for the information. I didn't think to look on here. I have seen the various census entries, I just wanted to tell the person who contacted me via email the information I had on James Spackman. |

I am looking into the family of the above, both born roughly 1812 living in West Ham. James was sent to Tasmania in 1848 and as far as I can tell Martha then worked as a needlewoman in order to keep the children of which there was about 5, but I have found a death in 1855 of a Martha Spackman in West Ham and was wondering if this was the same person and if so what happened to the children, most would have been in their teens and if anybody knows anything about this family I would be very grateful. |
