I am trying to find the burial place of Walter Mortimer the problem I have is he died in Gipping District Oct 1/4 1944, I know he was living in Ipswich in 1901 but can't find him on 1911 census (that would be useful too) either, as there is alot of villages in the Gipping district i just wondered if anyone had come across him his wife was called Alice Maud b circa 1878 (nee Mattin), Walter born in Ipswich District in 1866 they had a daughter Gwendoline Marjorie 2.4.1900 in ipswich, Walter was the son of Thomas And Louisa Mortimer a grain merchant & farmer I have all census and other details upto the 1901 census then the trail goes cold, any help appreciated |

Just found Alice Maud Mortimer on 1911 census living with her cousin Emily Rosier in Armley, west riding of Yorkshire no sign of Gwendoline though, Alice is calling herself single and a sewing machinist |

I know you are looking for Walter but sometimes we have to look for other family members that may lead to the person in question |
