I am trying to find details of my great great grandfather (Joseph Wilson's) marriage to Elizabeth Martin. I have managed to get my great grandfather's birth certificate Robinson Wilson who was born on 5 September 1840 at Cockerton, Darlington which states that his father was Joseph Wilson and Elizabeth Martin was his mother but I cannot find any details of their marriage or where it took place. I don't know Joseph's date of birth or date of his marriage and I can't find them in the Darlington area. Could anyone advise me on where I may find this information please?
