Find Ancestors

Percy was born in Lincolnshire in about 1909. His father was Handel Roberts; he married Jeanette Storrer in 1934 and they had (to my knowledge) a daughter Jane and a son Benjamin.

I have close family connections to Percy and Jeanette but lost track of them in about 1970. They must have passed away by now but if anyone has any information about them I would be very interested.

Benjamin was born 1939 and Jane 1936, both in Fylde.

No record of any other children.

Too many possible marriages to say which, if any, might be Benjamin's or Jane's.

Thank you for that but I know there were a number of Percy Roberts around that area, it was a popular name, not sure this is the one I'm after.
The last I heard they were living and working in Edinburgh of course it's always possible they moved back down to Lincolnshire.
I might have to send for the certificate.

Many thanks. Yes I have the probate information . I'm beginning to think they must have moved back to Lincolnshire after Percy retired.
Benjamin was born in 1939 so he would be 76 now and Jane about 82.
Have looked under search for information but it's a bit sparse. I would like to find out if Jeanette had any siblings but as yet haven't located any.

On earlier census returns you won't find any more siblings, if that's what you mean.
According to the 1911, mother Margaret had been married 7 years. Listed as married - so husband was away somewhere, not dead, presumably.

Hi, the husband George was a Master Mariner. I managed to locate his certificates online.
It would seem that Percy and Jeanette returned to their home area. I can probably go further back now with this family but don't know if Benjamin or Jane are still with us and have familia.
