I have the service records of two great uncles (brothers). They are much older than Paul's father-in-law. Both served in WW1, and re-engaged for WW2. |

i think i was looking more to see what ships he may have saied on during the war or are they all part of mod records that would have to be obtained within his personal details thanks Paul |

You can print the application forms off, complete them on behalf of your mother-in-law, if she's still alive, and get her to sign them. They will be free of charge. If she isn't still alive then your wife can apply. I have just had the records for my father and father-in-law (got my husband to sign for his father's). ... I had to wait awhile though. |
