I can't find anything on the usual searches. Is it possible that, as this name wasn't recorded on his birth certificate, it was just a name he added because he liked it, ha ha.

	He may have just liked the name. It could have been a name added at baptism. He could have been illegitimate and found out in later life that his father's name was Gefferson so added it to his own name. He may have added it to please a relative who left him something in a will. There are many reasons why someone adds a name that is not on their birth certificate. Kath. x

	How certain are you that the person on the other site is actually your relative? The spelling is unusual.........have you verified the info in any way? Has the person posting the info quoted a source? We can't help unless you give more details
