Whether Alice was described as married or a widow could have depended on the enumerator. |

Possible for Alice's marriage - though a long way from home - but the only one on FreeBMD between an Alice Cooper (she had no middle name per her birth and all censuses) and a Cook, between 1891 and 1901: |

Im looking to find the name of a relative on 1911 census . She is the granddaughter of George and Rebecca Cooper of Wickhambrook Suffolk, she was 9 on the census. Her name looks like Etty,but I can't find this name on any birth records. If anyone can make out a different name or find the records for Etty, I would be most grateful. |
