Hello,
Can you help me find the Billingsley family in the 1891 census please.
I can trace the family in the earlier and later census but 1891 is defeating me.

From a family tree posted on the web in 1891 the family was living at 23 Packington Street, Islington. Unfortunately the details do not give a source citation.

On Lionel's birth declaration states he was born at 7 Essex Road.
Pocklington Street, Islington (number looks to be 111) is also noted.

Sorry, not having any luck either. :-(

Looking at Packington Street, Islington in 1891 on FMP, house numbers are not transcribed

And no record of any Billingsleys

that's a bit strange, Phoebe's birth is registered without a middle name and yet in 1901 she has middle name (M)

Her marriage is recorded again without a middle name and on the marriage cert. her father's name is noted as William Edward (Locksmith)

Many thanks to you all for your replies. It is odd we cannot find the family in 1891 yet someone on the web listed them as living at 23 Packington Street, Islington. and the family names/ages are correct as well. I am grateful for all your help.

Perhaps the person who posted has private documentary evidence.

As I said before, the census does not record the house numbers, which means the info must be from an alternative source.

Address given for Henry is Ironmonger Street

doesn't help find them in 1891 but there may be another such document dated 1891 which gives their address.

I have located Packington Street, Islington on the 1891 census (RG12 167 Folio 11 Page 16). The house numbers on this page show House No 45 and then the next is 121 Packington Street. Not sure whether this means that No 111 was missed off the census or it appears in another Folio :-S

It looks like 111 Packington St is in District 21b. Description of the District follows:
RG12/169 District Islington 21b, Sub District Islington South East. Relevant piece from Description of District reads "Packington Street 54 to 88a (here is the canal) 89a to 120".
On Ancestry this Description of District 21b appears under Islington District 21however there is only the description of the District and no images for the census appear. So it looks like the images for 21b have been omitted by Ancestry and therefore have not been transcribed. The District might appear on a database that hasn't been transcribed by Ancestry

I have now found 111 Packington St, Islington in the 1891 Census BUT the Billingsley Family are not listed as living there!

Could someone double check this for me. The address has been located on Ancestry under Islington District 20b. Details RG12, Piece 169, Folio 30, Page 56. Thank you.
