It really does sound promising.I couldn't find a marriage for a Sarah Monk either so perhaps that is a good sign.The birth dates of the Sarah Monk and Sarah married to Robert fit.

Have a look at http://www.freereg.org.uk. There are quite a number of Monks and Wellards in Eynsford and surrounding area.

Still can't find a marriage for Robert and Sarah but Sarah Monk does seem very promising.

This is a long shot but please has anyone or can anyone find the maiden name of Robert Wellard's wife Sarah.The eldest child of these two was born in Eynsford Kent 1814.I have been searching for many years without success.
