very interesting as my grandfather also served in eqypt.

I am related to a Frank Frederick Taylor born in Leicester 22/12/1906, his father was Albert and his mother was Edna, he served in Eygpt and was in the Royal artlliary, his service book states his date of birth as being 16/08/1906, I believe he gave this date to allow him to enlist 08/09/1924 as he would have been under the age of 18 had he have given his real date of birth. He did marry and divorce Iris butcher and he had two further marriages. He died on 11/11/1975 in Oxford.
