OK, I see a tree on Ancestry that has the marriage date and place I posted above (14th Sept 1789 Market Drayton))- but have the surname Price. However, the original image gives Martha's name as PERRY.

Regarding the name Price, cant recall to where it came from.
Perhaps it was my research for I believe (sorry should have mentioned earlier) two John Rowleys from same more or less same area and same birth.

Possibly Matty is Martha?? Richard is listed as widower in 1851 so it possible that she was with him in 1841 looking after his children.

sorry forgot to mention , brummie jan did some research for me previously but couldn't find any other info. Hence the reason for 1841 lookup for John snr. just incase if would show anything.
Or if could find any siblings of John 1807.

Where did you get the surname of John's Mum?

i have done my tree going back to my gr gr gr grandfather John.Rowley 1807c who was born in Weston Upon Trent. who wed a mary fletcher in 1829 in Shropshire. Now i am looking to go another generation back i.e. his parents.
John Rowley snr wed a Martha Price but date unknown.
I was wondering if they could be on 1841 census to which might show a little more information, whether siblings still at home or if they would still be alive in 1841.
Any help/search would be really appreciated
