Still playing around with this. An important piece of info omitted in original post was that one of the witnesses was an Amelia Cox. Quite possibly the sister which shows up in census as being born 1891 Deptford

Would get that Birth Cert. though...
(but, looking at 1875 Henry Marriage (Ancestry), strangely, address for him as, Williams Grove (Father Henry. Leather Dresser. Deceased) which matches 1901 1911 posted by alviegal above, so looks like that William was brother of Henry)

If I am reading your posts correctly Maud and Charles gave the same address for their marriage registrations and it appears Maud gave her brother's name when asked the name of her father. Sorry but I forgot to mark down her address when I was at the library. Many thanks for solving my problem

(although Father as Henry for 1919 Charles Frederick Cox Marriage, same address given for him, as Maud, 48, Albridge Street)
Could be that 1881 Census?, looks to go with others above...

Here is that family in 1881 Mike. Father is a Leather dresser not a Feather dresser ;-)

I don't think this can be the correct family though if the father was William.

Maud Elizabeth Cox married George Edward Bayliss 1915 Walworth. She gave her age as 27(1888) and her father as William. His occupation was something to do with leather(hard to read). I have looked 1891-1911 without success. Can someone please try and find her.
