Thank you both for that information .. It seems a lot of my Rackham relatives ended up in the asylum , Huntingtons disease being the main cause, such a shame |

It appears that this was his death (from an Ancestry tree), so this would be him on 1901. |

I don't have the death certificate , I know through searching back to his father many years ago when I started my tree and other family connections that he died of Huntingston disease. Something which has claimed the lives of many of my ancestors. |

That Benjamin defiantly isn't mine then. So I'm going to rule him out, and go with the theory that he was a fisherman |

Hi Sue- what was occupation/ address/ informant on his death certificate? |

greyghost | Report | 23 May 2015 10:48 |
Benjamin b 1858 Fritton with wife Sarah b 1860 Metfield, Suffolk and and daughter Harriett b 1891 Fritton are on the 1911 census and still in the Depwade RD and there is a death for a Benjamin Rackham in the same RD aged 88 in 1945 |

I shall certainly take a closer look that he was a fisherman, I'm not going to rule anything out, as you say he could of been at sea when census was taken. Thank you |

Possibly the marriage in Depwade RD found by Yvonne is of this Benjamin Rackham, so not the one |
