If you start with his marriage certificate, you should be able to identify him in the 1911 census to confirm his birthplace. As he married during WW2, he may have been born elsewhere and only married while stationed in the London area.

There are a few Herbert Bull's born 1910 just trying to narrow it down as it expensive to send for several certs and then annoying when its the wrong one
