On the 8th July 1917 when my Grandad was serving in France (Corporal Royal Engineers) his second son died aged 2 years. My Grandad was brought home from France due to this. I was wondering if there would be any details about this on his Military Records . My Grandad was John James Millington born 6th May 1892 in Walbrook Coseley West Midlands. He was married to Fanny Short. The child was born on 6th March 1915 in Dudley Stafford and he died on 6th July 1917 His name was also John James Millington. Thank you Kind Regards Pam |
