My ancestor, George Spikesman , was born in Hampton Hill, Middlesex in 1858, parents George and Elizabeth. He appeared in the 1861 and 1881 census returns and in Nov 1881 was sentenced to a spell in prison. This is the last reference I have found to him. There is another George Spikesman who was brought up around Epsom (in the same period) but they are not the same person. |
