I am trying to fit this branch into my tree can anyone help, I have Alfred Brain born about 1858 in Gloucestershire, married Sarah Hayward in 1881, I have found his father - Samuel Brain born about 1832, he married Esther Brown 1854, on their Marriage record Samuels father was also Samuel Brain, I have found Samuel Brain born about 1809, he married Frances, his father was also Samuel, I have found Samuel Brain born about 1791 has anyone got this line and could give me more info please. These are all from Oldland where my Brains are all from so they must fit in somewhere on my tree, I would be really grateful for any help on this. :-S

Margee - yes this is him I think, I have this on 1871 census although I think the mothers name is Esther not Hester, as the same family are on 1881 and 1891 with the name Esther and I have marriage record for Samuel Brain and Esther Brown 1854.
