The return of the mysterious Mr Clough

They may need sifting through as may not all be for your man -there appears to be another John William Clough operating in the Burnley/ Lancashire area for the same time period, but he was born in the 1860s. There are many articles relating to his convictions.- One in Burnley 1906 suggests 31 previous offences. |

I will try Lancs records office and have a look and I'll also try the national archives. I know about the other JWClough - there are lots of newspaper articles about him that I've had to sift through to find my Mr Clough! |
