Before I can for a sent for a birth cert, I know he was born in Cardiff Wales in 1920 but do not know his mother and father names or where they lived? I'm trying to find these out, Hope someone can help me.Thanks

I think this is the Cleveland on the 1930 census, a different person to the one we are looking for

For that era, the name Cleveland would be most unlikely to be given to a British child

There are loads of Cleveland Stones on the US censuses.

Thanks Shirley , I think I must have got Cardiff for his birth instead of his marriage ,on that1920&1931 census it said he was white,we always thought he was mixed race? and if he came from Alabama then it must be one of his parent or grand parent? what do you think?
