Could someone please help me with a photo, Prickles told me about it but she was unable to send it to me, if you are able to can you send me it please.
It was for Ashley Patchett birth 1897 Royal Aero club aviators certificate he was born at Winceby lincs. I will let you have my email address if you can send me a pm, Thankyou for your time.

Where did she see the photo?

It was on Ancestry.

I see a photo- it's on the page before his certificate, but there is nothing to confirm if it is him, or if it applies to the certificate before for a Hubert Patch.

Oh- Unsure if last last photo was of him, as there was nothing to identify it- I've found the one that Prickles must have seen, with his name on the bottom- am sending it now! Thanks Gins

This is family is so sad.

Ashley Patchett marries in 1924 to Mary Rutter. Mary (known as Molly) dies in 1935- a newspaper article dated 1935 states they had three young children.

Ashley marries again in 1937 to Ivy Harrison, but in 1943 Ashley falls ill and has to sell his farm. He died in April 1943 leaving a family with small children.

Ashley was an ARP officer and had served as a pilot in the RAF. He was also a member of the masons.

I know my neighbour who is one of his daughters told me he died when she was 4
