Did his son John Richard (Jack) Brewer also die aboard a missing trawler in Hull in 1940? Just spotted an article on it (with a photo of John Richard Brewer)- maybe coincidence, but let me know if it's of interest and I'll send it |

George, I can't see a Brewer mentioned in any of the articles. One article states FEARED LOSS OF 13 LIVES, it states that 7 of them were married men. |

Yes Gritty We are all related. There's Christopher Brewer n H.M.S. Minotaur 1810. George Brewer St. Clair 1921 one on H.M.S. Fifeshire 1940 one on S.S .Empire Express 1940. and the one on Scapa flow 1925 I can't find. This info comes from Robert Brewer b. 1953 Hull who says its his granddad. Could be his mothers side surname Rhodes. |

Thanks Very much That is the exact one. They lived Westbourne Street He confused me by saying his granddad I assumed he meant on our side and I'd got my tree all wrong as so many of our side were lost at sea. Give me more info for my tree Thanks. |
