Trying to trace death for Lucy aka Mary Roberts

My 4xGGrandmother Lucy Peatman became Lucy Roberts on marriage, she also seems to have been known as Mary. She was born in 1799 at Long Bennington & I have her on census data at Welby Lincolnshire through to 1871. She was a widow living alone at that stage. I can find no trace of her after that. Can anyone else locate her after 1871 & find a death registration or burial for her? |

Grantham district covers Welby. There are these 2, ages aren't correct on either but it's not unusual for a person of that age to not know exactly how old they are, same for the person registering the death. |

She is in an almshouse in 1 871 so that 1860 death can't be her |

Can't see a Lucy - as Welby comes under Grantham any of these might be her: |

Margee, thanks for the 2 death regns you have come up with, they seem to warrant following up, although I can't find any trace of a burial at Welby. |

Actually looking at the ones that brummiejan posted the 1882 one is closest in age. I missed that one. |

Where was her husband buried? Surely she would be buried with him? |

The only issue with the 1882 entry is that Lucy/Mary isn't on the 1881 census at Welby. Need to try and find this Mary on the census to get a line on that Mary. |

Merged, she was widowed quite young, her husband was buried at Welby, but there is no trace of her burial there in the burial register, so unless it missed being recorded it appears she was buried elsewhere. |

Only other thought I have is whether she was living elsewhere. I assume you have tracked down her children 1881, just in case she was with one of them? |

Thanks for the input, William Peatman is my 3x GGrandfather. Lucy lived with John Roberts & his family after her husband died, but he then died. I am struggling to track down what happened to some of her children, but will have to redouble my efforts to try and trace them. |
