Hi Maureen, to answer your question of why I suggested he was a builder because that was part of the eroneous info I was given to work from.

Thank you Maureen. The 'story' from 'the family' seems to have mis-matches all the way through but there is certainly a reference to a lot of money for Elizabeth (Mrs Fleet)

An article on 13 April 1928 - Leamington Spa Courier - Leamington, Warwicks gives his address as 9 Clifton Terrace, Kenilworth and he was an Ironmonger. - it states he left a will.
