Ugborough is a small village in Devon, not far from Ermington.

I got the information about John Northmore and Louisa demellweek from distant relations who have Clara Streeter in their family tree.
The John Northmore and Susan Gilbery information came from someone who had Susan Gilbery in their family tree and contacted me via g.reunite.

A relation of Ann Philips contacted me saying she thought Stephen Norrhmore was part of my family line and assumed Jane Northmore was a single mother when she had John, but she also thought Jane may have married later, and suggested she may have married a John Lllicrap.

Well one link in the chain seems to be right.
