Matilda is keeping to the same age throughout I notice, though on the '71 her birthplace is down as Walthamstow, not Gravesend |

I think you will have to get the marriage cert, there doesn't seem to be a Matilda Dell born around 1844 |

You probably already have this but just in case as it has an alternative spelling, note that Solomon's youngest is called Matilda after his mother |

Can't find Henry Dell in 1861 or 51 which is what made me think perhaps their mother re-married. |

Matilda Gentilia Coode born c1847 at Wood Street, Walthamstow was almost certainly from a traveller family. In 1893 she gave evidence in the trial of her brother Henry and described them as 'hawkers' living in a van in Higham Hill. In the 1911 Census she is living at 70, Higham Hill with her husband and her place of birth is given as Wood Street, Walthamstow, In the 1891 Census she is living with her family in Forest Road, Leyton. All of these addresses are associated with traveller sites and it is almost certain that in 1893, when she gave evidence, she was living in Folly Lane which is a traditional traveller site and where today there is an official traveller site. This ties in with the information on this thread about Solomon Coote , Gentillia Coode b1873 and Richard Hetherington Cood |
