Friday afternoon banking and grocery shopping time .... I write the lists, balance the books, etc. OH does the actual banking and shopping. while I have an extra latte in the coffee shop!

I'm sorry JC ............... I'd love to have one of your cats, but OH is allergic to long exposure. He just about gets through 10 days at daughter's with their 2 cats ...... with the aid of plentiful Dristan!



off to mooch, then dinner

then make up OH before he leaves the house

it's performance time at the student opera (Don Giovanni this time) ............ he can't see without his glasses

so he puts on the foundation, then I use black eyebrow pencil to emphasise his eyebrows, over and under his eyes, and lines



and hope that the police don't stop him on the 20 minute drive there or back!!

I have a reasonably free day today as daughter is staying at her brother's for the weekend. May see if my poorly friend would like a ride out or I may do some shopping or I may do not a lot at all! More decisions

Renes.....our tinternet was playing up last night, I wonder if it had anything to do with Fireworks...the TV was a bit hit and miss too?

Why when you help a poster to find something and then say
"I will leave the fun of searching for the rest to you cos its more satisfying" and they say "thank you I will"does someone else then come along and post the data that you DELIBERATELY did not post that is simple to find??
It really ticks me off,especially when it is an 1881 census that is free for all to search and the person is then done out of the satisfaction of finding it themselves..

Could be fireworks - but they would have to be pretty big to effect my Internet here !

I lose my home telephone and TV - I get freeview off an independent satellite - but OH not keen on cooking progs and quizz shows so spent thurs and Friday eves moaning - is there anything else on!!!

Lit our log stove last night - so boiling in house last night - too early really - but was chilly ay 6.00

Fans...I think some just can't help themselves....they have copyandpasteitis! I sometimes notice that census details are posted even though the poster has asked for something else completely. Presumably they just want to be helpful.........

I tend to delete if I post after someone...unless I dont go back to the thread and check that is

I can understand someone posting seconds or even a minute or two after the info has already been posted. It's when they post the same info 10 or 60 minutes later!

Refresh for goodness sake and read whats already there ;)

I can be guilty of getting carried away with a thread thread though...although I do avoid posting FreeBMD stuff, they can get that for themselves

It's a shame that not everyone is perfect like we is!!!!

Yeah I will delete if the info is already there. I will normally start them off with freebmd with a marriage then explain how to find the kids...checking first whether they had any of course. Then you get someone posting the said children, and get told they may be new to this and not know how to use freebmd aghhhh
