Question - If you recieve a pm and it shows up in your emails (as it does) and you delete it without reading it ...will the sender still have a purple envelope showing?

If you delete the message without reading it then it should still show up as "Unopened" (Purple) in the senders "Sent" messages.

I think he must have done that then, as I sent two messages and he read the 2nd one but not the 1st and if he does not know about the inbox he may not come back.

Ja...x if it's important to him, it may be worth sending him one more message. He could have missed the first one for some reason - perhaps he gets a lot of emails and he just overlooked that one from Genes or he deleted it thinking it was just an advertising thing from Genes. Just a thought. If you send me his name, I'll see if I've had contact with him via my messages.

As he has mentioned an aunt surley she would know some cousins and maybe the spouses names of thier parents which could tie up with his family. Obviously if they are living we dont want thier details on here.

Hi all

Been to seaside today -

Only to do my weekly shop - nothing exciting just food -

But I managed to get 2 legs of lamb -

The Spanish only really eat lamb occasionally - and then lamb chops at 18 pound kg - little fatty skinny one - which they griddle - don't know what they do with the legs and shoulders - but don't see them often


So roast lamb - Sunday - wonderful

Been having a look back Ja...x Looks like that chap started to post in July. I first sent him a message on how to find and reply on 13.7. He seems to have been consistently polite but missed replying to a couple of his threads during the summer. I have sent several reminders to him, all of which he has opened but not replied to. I sent him one this week but he has not opened it. It may be he is either away etc. or he is upset with that response.

It's a shame that happened. I had a pm from someone earlier in the week about a similar thing. This person was dreadfully hurt by something which had been said and, as their father died last month and their mother had a heart attack last week, they didn't have the resilience to cope with it. They hasn't opened any of my pm's since the first one I sent.

The thing is, we never know what is going on in other people's lives do we? sigh.........
