I have a small squeegee in each of our bath / shower combos ...... a small size version of what you might use to clean your car windscreen.


I use it to squeeze down the tiles in th whole enclosure after every shower.


Haven't had to do much more to the tiles in the 3 years I've been using it.

No mould formation either anywhere


Now ................ the bath itself is something else again!!!

Elements of the story are true .

The known facts about Lillian Alling are:-

...... that she appeared in British Columbia in 1927 saying she had walked (and possibly hitchhiked or rode freight trains like the hobos) across the continent from New York,

...... that she was arrested in northern BC and put into Oakalla Prison in Vancouver (a very notorious prison),

....... that she worked in a restaurant in Vancouver for the winter of 1927/28, after release from Oakalla

....... that she walked north again in 1928, and spent the winter of 1929 in Dawson City in the Yukon.

........ that she repaired an old boat over that winter, and then set off down the Yukon River, saying that she was going to get to the coast and then get some Eskimo hunters to take her across the Bering Strait to Siberia

All that is known after that is one unconfirmed siting in the area of Nome Alaska, and one unconfirmed report that a white woman had been seen alnding on the cost of Alaska with 3 Eskimos

Nothing is know of her life before she appeared in BC, and nothing is known after


so the writer produced his own story around the known facts.
