Im cooking a mince and onion pie from scratch and I might open some mushy peas

Im as happy as any other married women ;)

Banana/honey/sultana/nut cake in the oven (Home made)
Burgers made earlier to go with a nice veg stir fry.

Ooooo must go,that cake smells Goooooooooood..
Im not married,I live in very happy sin...I think it is good to sin every now and then,which I am going to do later when I start scoffing my cake with lashings of custard on...;0)

Forgot to say it has cinnamon and nutmeg in too,and it is just coming out of the oven..

Quorn just absorbs all the flavours that you cook it with. Its ace and even the boys prefer it to meat

I make a lovely 'apple parcel' with layers of filo pastry filled with apples, sultanas, cinnamon and nutmeg !!

This sounds very similar in smell but different in consistency !! but anyway, cooked for me, which is always SSSooo much nicer !!!

I use quorn - used to make lasagna - cannelloni and savory mince with it ( I ate it without the pasta ) - in the days when butchers minced all the rubbery bit in their mince - hated that supermarket and butchers mince - all that grey water that run out of it

I agree with you it takes the taste from veg etc

Don't use it here as they mince the beef - pork from a piece of meat you select - then mince it while you wait - also never seen quorn in the shops

My brother stayed a hunk - until got past 55 ish - then got fat

Please don't keep on talking about puddings and cakes

I keep wanting sweet things - last time you all cooked puds - pies - cakies

I made my no cook chocolate biscuit cake with sultanas and dried cherries - and was scoffing it at 9,30 pm

I love mince and onion pie (mince from my butchers) and I actually prefer it when it's cold. I always save a slice to eat later!!




Have had 2 phone calls one after the other. One inviting us out and another inviting themselves! OH is chatting away to the latter.....very old friends....whilst I am trying not to laugh at jokes my daughter keeps showing me on the computer. Some of them are very rude!
