Fans as he died in the qtr j-m - you would need to know if he died before or after the 22nd Feb to use the calculated age of 64

You are correct of course Renes.Sparky cant find his death cert although he knows he has it somewhere,so I guess I will have to send for it for him again..
You too are correct of course Sylvia,bet Nora didnt know the truth either probs as she was the informant I think as the girls were under 18....
Will tell him I am sending for it and he now owes me £9.25 ...again..
Only had his g grandparents marriage back last week for him,on the other side,of which Renes found the 1880 census for of him in NY ...x x x xTo Renes from him he said ,when I told him you had found it and not I...

Oh Fans was that the Godfrey man - I was amazed at the amount of people that had been born in NY living in the countryside of UK in the mid 1840 s and 1850s

I picked some other surnames at random to see if it was common - but no it was only Godfrey -

Good morning everyone


Saturday Brunch

Cold Cereals:- AllBran, Shredded Wheat, Raisin & Almond Oatmeal Crisp

Hot Cereal:- Porridge

Bacon, ham, breakfast sausages, Cumberland sausages, eggs (scrambled, fried, omelette, boiled), grilled tomatoes, grilled mushrooms, baked beans, black pudding

Buttermilk pancakes, French toast

Fruit puree, Maple Syrup, Saskatoon berry syrup, Blueberry syrup, Golden syrup

Toast (white, multigrain, 100% wheat, traditional oatmeal), Danish pastries, bagels, croissants

Jams, jellies, marmalade, cream cheese, honey.


Tea, coffee, juices, Mimosas

I fell asleep watching the film!

You can buy those crispy fried onions in Sainsbuys in packets...Ive often looked at them and thought...

OOOhhh! - Morning Sylvia,

BIG breakfast for me please... Omelette, bacon, cumberland sausages, mushrooms + tomatoes... Yuummm - I'm 'tucking in'.... slurp slurp......gobble gobble... 'just a bit of that black pudding and some toast, and some more grilled tomatoes, then I'm done!!!

It's going to be a lovely day, I have had a sleep and today I have NO granchildren, NO visitors and hubby will be playing golf later so I am going to have a good rest!
