OH

I thought JC's reference to her banana was in regard to my comment about eating my lunch sarnie

I posted about eating our last banana in response to HER comment about the banana in her office

Is everyone clear now???????????

Fans...annoying?

Yep. Hard to believe though.

But not a lot.

Janey, when did anyone ever take anything you said, the wrong way?? Must have missed that ;))

Fixed it fairly quickly. I was expecting to see a particular thing to click for switching directions, but you click on "Last Reply" in the top row, which has a direction arrow beside it.

Irene, you *should* eat a banana a day!

That's true about the fridge, Sylvia -- in fact this one at the office had the skin all gone brown, but the inside was still fine. Because it's unheated overnight, I suppose. ;)

But generally we have to leave them out, because No.1 picks them up at the 7-11 for me and they're generally greenish. Sometimes they're not green, they just feel and taste like cardboard anyhow.

I think I may use one tonight and whip up one of my ultra-low-carb cottage-cheese cheesecakes for desert. If you don't like aspartame, don't ask. ;)

Just have time to eat one before I have to close down on here and get ready to go to the hairdressers

Got to do my hair first, you know!

Hi Anne-Marie,

Welcome to this thread, and 'double welcome' as you have cooked us all that lovely food!!

Hambone broth for me too please - just what I need!

Hello everyone else!

Only here for 5 minutes - had a very busy day - grandaughter collected at 'crack of dawn' so no time for breakfast (so it wasn't me who ate it all today !!).

She was here for the day as it is half-term' and brother-in-law announced he was coming to stay overnight so he is now here and grand-daughter coming again before it is light in the morning!!!

Hope to catch up with you all tomorrow night if I am not too kna###red !

Have a good time all,

Dea x

All righty. It all sounds fine ... if exceptionally carbohydrate-laden ... except for "claggy black sweeties". That sounds pretty bad. I don't generally eat black food. The only one I can think of is black licorice, and that's just foul.

Mead -- bought some once, found it was better in the mind than in the mouth. Ale, that's always in season.

Now I'm an expert!

I might share. You can have the claggy black sweeties and some ale. There.

I do like a banana sarnie for my lunch every now and again

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 21 Oct 2010 21:46

Nobody gets to make off with my prezzies ......... pretend or otherwise. Words to remember!

jax, I haven't quite followed the sequence of events etc -- you haven't had a proper diagnosis? That's a drag. A cousin of mine (really my mum's best childhood friend's kid) has had the other kind for decades - relapsing remitting? She has been very fortunate I think. She's in her mid-50s now and going pretty strong.

A couple of Canadian provinces are funding or considering funding research into the procedure being performed in Italy. "Zamboni" -- which is hard for a Canadian to take seriously, because a zamboni is the thing that cleans the ice between periods in a hockey game.

What really needs to be investigated first is whether disproportionate numbers of people with MS even *have* the condition that the procedure purports to treat -- narrowed arteries to the brain -- I would think. It really is horrible to think of people getting such high hopes for something that turns out to be about as genuine as apricot pits for cancer.

** waves white flag **

Evening all.... is it safe to enter??

Let me just introduce myself, my name is Tracey and i used to be an addict.... a Genes addict.

However due to snot, goo and general over working i have been very negligent in my duties to my fellow Genealogists....

I am however here for a few brief seconds to try and redeem myself...

Yes I have a proper diagnosis of PPMS as its called, but it is nothing like relapsing and remmitting which everyone knows about.
As you Canadians know it is more common in Canada than anywhere else in the world. I have heard of a few people going for checks on thier arteries think it costs about £6000 and I do not fancy going to Poland for it
