Oh Brilliant LK

I searched newspapers this morning for the husbands name - he was mention at the inquest but only in passing - in his snowy white frock - Seager was named as Samuel by all the witnesses -

Have emailed Dover library for a copy of two articles in Dover Herald

Still have not found the murderer yet

How interesting Sylvia.

I was interested in that thread as it was local to me
I lived on Francis street as a baby with my grandparents. It was occupied mainly by people relating to the large army barracks. My grandparents weree married in St Michael All Angels.
I know Ann Street and Sibthorpe Road Lee.

LK

At the inquest it was said that he was at his mothers house- cannot remember now if it said living at - or just at - a witness said she saw him make the bullett - I cannot view the article as I am using my iPod tonight - but from memory it was a young girl - could be the Smith girl

I was rather assuming he was not married but I suppose he could have been a widow - when I get the other two articles maybe we will know more

Well done Lady Kira - a bit more to check out

Perhaps we ought to start a private detective agency

The 'light breakfast' was a very good idea with that wonderful lunch to look forward to later - Than you Sylvs.

My gosh though - a 'baron of beef' - I hope you have a VERY large oven!! Are you expecting to feed the 5000 ?
You must have had it cooking since yesterday?

How much does it weigh, or is a 'baron of beef' much smaller over there?

Dea x

OOOhh, and the Bumbleberry pie sounds delicious, I have never tried that before.

Otterden is a very tiny village. At initial glance Why Banks House is a small poor house.
