	Simon ........... welcome to the Boards This thread is almost 6 years old, therefore Kevin may well not be watching for any new posts, and GR does not notify when new posts appear I suggest that you send him a private message (pm) through the GR system. GR will then send an email to let him know that there is a pm waiting. Just click on his name, type your message in the box that appears then click Submit. All you can do then is hope that he still has the same email address that is on record with GR. Keep an eye on your Sent Messages to see if he opens the pm ................. go to Messages above, click on Sent Messages. A green envelope to the left of the name shows that the message has not been opened No envelope indicates that the message has been opened. Then it is up to Kevin if he wishes to respond. Good luck

Member Since: January 2016 Posts: 1 Send Message	Sarah was my mother's great aunt - Henry Arthur and Jane my great grandparents - I'm grandson of their youngest-but-one daughter Alice. We have family photos of Leonard/Lenard, but not one that I know of Sarah (known as Sally). Not sure quite what happened, but I think something happened to Lenard (accident with scalding while infant). What's your connection?

	This name crops up a lot I have noticed that there are at least 15 threads on the spence family!!!

	The 1881 census is for Spence, with a large curl at the end of the word which has been interpreted as Spencer.
