Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

My dad was married for the 2nd time 1955, he went on to have a further 5 children. His first marriage was with Doris M Jones, my dad was Thomas Edward Cutts.

I had a cousin called MARILYN SHIRLEY CUTTS whose mother was a younger sister to my mother, GRACE EDITH MARY JONES. Grace had four brothers and three sisters, the latter named ROSE, VIOLET and DORIS. I believe Rose was an opera singer with the Carl Rosa Opera Company. My mother died in 1944 when I was just 7 and we lost touch with her side of the family.
