Hi , my name is Ruth. I am looking for descendants of Frederick Henry Ford Slater and Fannie Slater (nee Page) who lived in Odessa Road, Forest Gate, East London in the first half of the 1900's. They had nine girls, Emily, Ada, Olive, Dora, Beatrice, Clara, Minnie, Ivy, and Alice. Also two sons John and Walter, both died during WW1, one from influenza and one in action. Hi Ruth again -I have an old photo of the whole family at a wedding taken in August 1918 -it is Minnie marrying Charles Cave -my mother is on her mothers knee and aged about 2. The groom is in army uniform. |
